Are you single and over 50/60, want to meet new friends and get out and about more?
Then your local S.P.A.Social Group is the place to go. We are an active, friendly social group for single people over 50 (but any age is welcome) with six Branches across the South West: BATH & WILTS, EXETER, TAUNTON, WELLS & MENDIP, WESTON-SUPER-MARE AND YEOVIL
Each Branch has a friendly meet and greet weekly Bar Night. Every month each S.P.A. Branch organises a wide range of interesting, fun and lively activities and events locally and with other S.P.A. Branches to suit all tastes and pockets. Advertised during Bar Night and in the Monthly Newsletter. You can choose to join in activity put on by any Branch to suit your taste and budget. You will always be assured of a warm welcome.

"I was new to Dorset and did not know anyone. It is hard to go out and meet people alone and I found the S.P.A. The met with me and introduced me to the group which were very friendly and welcoming. I have now been a member for four years and it has been a great way to get about and about and meet new people and make new friends. I have also participated in wide variety of activities organized by each of the six branches, such as annual black tie balls, discos, live music events, themed dance nights, parties, BBQs, cinema, theatre, excellent walks, weekends away and great lunches and dinners. "I had been widowed for four years. They told me all about the things S.P.A. offer a single person. Visits to the cinema, theatre, holidays, walking, skittles. National Trust visits. Two balls a year where we get a chance to meet other members from the other branches we cover in the South West. We have an annual general meeting and regular weekly bar nights, where we mix and mingle with other members, men and women from all walks of life. I have met some very interesting people and had the opportunity to do a lot of things I wouldn't have done without being a member of S.P.A. I can recommend it to anyone who is single, male or female who isn't necessarily looking for a dating agency, but wants to make new friends and live life to the full."

"S.P.A. offers friendship and fun"
"I joined SPA so that I could naturally meet folks from all walks of life and join in a wide variety of different activities. I was lonely but did not join S.P.A. as a dating venue but just to meet people. I am now married as by accident met a great partner at S.P.A.
Married couples do not attend the S.P.A but we are invited to attend the big events like the winter and summer ball so we can meet up with old friends. In fact I have made life long friends in the S.P.A. I highly recommend it."

"Great place to meet friendly people and get our and about more"
"I have been a member of S.P.A. for quite a few years and thoroughly enjoy it. I have made many friends and I find I can join in activities that suit me and my budget. There are no huge membership fees and members are very friendly. Our weekly bar nights offer a warm and relaxing environment to have a chat about what is going on and what we want to do together and with other branches. We all have different tastes so there is a wide variety of activities to choose from. I am never lonely and there is always something to look forward to."
